বাংলা এক্সপ্রেস: সোমবার রাতে সিপিএম তৃনমূল সংঘর্ষে আহত তৃনমূলের দুই প্রার্থীসহ ছয়জন। ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে উত্তর দিনাজপুর জেলার চোপড়া থানার ঘিরনীগাঁও অঞ্চলে। আহতদের প্রথমে দলুয়া প্রাথমিক স্বাস্থ্যকেন্দ্রে ভর্তি করা হয়। পরে অবস্থার অবনতি হলে তাদের উত্তরবঙ্গ মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালে স্থানান্তর করা হয়।
এলাকায় উত্তেজনা থাকায় মোতায়েন করা হয়েছে বিশাল পুলিশবাহিনী।মনোনয়নপত্র জমা দেওয়ার অতিরিক্ত দিনে উত্তর দিনাজপুর জেলায় সারাদিনে তেমন কোনও অপ্রীতিকর ঘটনা না ঘটলেও রাত আটটা নাগাদ চোপড়া থানার ঘিরনীগাঁও গ্রামপঞ্চায়েত এলাকায় সিপিএম-তৃনমূল সংঘর্ষ বেঁধে যায়। সিপিএম এর অভিযোগ, আজ তাদের যেকয়জন মনোনয়নপত্র জমা দিতে গেলে কয়েক জনকে রাস্তা থেকে আটক করে রাখে তৃনমূল আশ্রিত দুষ্কৃতীরা। আর জারা মনোনয়নপত্র দাখিল করেছেন তারা ভয়ে দিনের আলোতে বাড়ি ফিরতে পারেনি।
পরে রাতের অন্ধকারে চুপিসারে তারা বাড়িতে ফেরার পর তৃনমূল কংগ্রেসের গুন্ডাবাহিনী সিপিএম প্রার্থীদের বাড়িতে হামলা চালাতে গেলে গ্রামবাসীরাই প্রতিবাদ করে। সেসময়ই দুপক্ষের মধ্যে সংঘর্ষ বেঁধে যায়। সংঘর্ষে তৃনমূল কংগ্রেসের ঘিরনীগাঁও গ্রামপঞ্চায়েতের দুই প্রার্থী জাহিদুল রহমান ও মুকসেদুর এবং তৃনমূল কর্মী আসারু মহম্মদ গুরুতর জখম হন। তাদের উত্তরবঙ্গ মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসার জন্য ভর্তি করা হয়েছে। তৃনমূল কংগ্রেসের অভিযোগ, সিপিএম এলাকায় পরিকল্পিতভাবে সন্ত্রাস চালাচ্ছে ।
