ব্যাঙ্কশাল আদালতে সিবিআইয়ের বিশেষ কোর্ট সোমবার নাওদা মামলায় আইপিএস এস এম এইচ মির্জাকে 14 দিনের জেল হেফাজত দিলো। অর্থাৎ, আগামী 15 অক্টোবর পর্যন্ত জেলে কাটাতে হবে মির্জাকে।
এদিন ব্যাঙ্কশাল কোর্ট থেকে প্রেসিডেন্সি চলে যাওয়ার আগে মির্জা সংবাদমাধ্যমকে জানান, গত সাড়ে তিন বছর ধরে তাঁর বুকের মধ্যে যে যন্ত্রণা ছিল, সেখান থেকে তিনি অনেকটাই মুক্ত। গত কয়েকদিন সিবিআই তদন্তকারীদের সবরকম সহযোগিতা সহযোগিতা করেছেন এবং পুরো বিষয়টি তিনি খুলে জানিয়েছেন। এখন তিনি অনেকটাই হালকা।
মির্জা আরও বলেন, তার সহকর্মীরা জানেন তিনি কেমন প্রকৃতির মানুষ। তবে আইন আইনের পথে চলবে। আইনকে তিনি সহযোগিতা করে যাবেন।
যদিও মুকুল রায় প্রসঙ্গে একটিও কথা এদের মুখে আনেননি আইপিএস মির্জা। তবে আদালতে তাঁর আইনজীবীরা নাম না করে মুকুল রাযাকে বিঁধেছেন। অন্যদিকে, সিবিআই সূত্রে পিটিশনে মুকুল রায়ের নাম উল্লেখ না করলেও কেস ডায়েরিতে কিন্তু তারা মুকুলের নাম দিয়েছেন।
