ঝাড়গ্রাম:- ঝাড়গ্রাম জেলার জামবনি ব্লকের কেঁদডাংরী গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েতের পড়শুলি গ্রামে একটি দাঁতাল বাড়ি বাড়ি গিয়ে খাওয়ারের সন্ধান করতে দেখা গেল শুক্রবার সকালে । স্থানীয় সূত্রে জানা যায় , প্রায় পনেরো কুড়ি দিন ধরে এলাকায় দাপিয়ে বেড়াচ্ছে একটি দাঁতাল হাতি । যেকোনো সময় জঙ্গল লাগোয়া পড়শুলী , অস্তি , মালবাঁধি , ঝুরকি , ভুরসা গ্রাম গুলির রাস্তাঘাটে বেরিয়ে পড়ে দাঁতাল টি । কখনো কখনো খাবারের সন্ধানে জঙ্গল লাগোয়া গ্রামগুলোতে হানা দেয় এই দাঁতাল টি । এদিন পড়শুলী গ্রামে সকালে খাওয়ারে খোঁজে হানা দেয় গজরাজ । গ্রামের কয়েকজনের বাড়িতে খাওয়ারের খোঁজে দরজায় দরজায় ধাক্কা মারে । গ্রামের মানুষ ভয়ে আতঙ্কিত হয়ে দরজা , জানালা সব বন্ধ করে দেয় । একজনের বাড়ির দরজা খোলা পেয়ে বাড়ির উঠোন থেকে ধান বস্তা বার করে সাবাড় করে দেয় গজরাজ । ধান খাওয়ার খাওয়ার পর গ্রামবাসীর তাড়া খেয়ে জঙ্গলে চলে যায় দাঁতালটি ।
ঝাড়গ্রামের ডিএফও বাসবরাজ হলাইচি বলেন , ঝাড়খণ্ড বডার লাগোয়া জঙ্গলে ১২ থেকে ১৩ টি হাতির একটি পাল রয়েছে । জঙ্গল থেকে একটি হাতি খাবারের সন্ধানে গ্রামে ঢুকে পড়েছিল । খবর পেয়ে বনদপ্তর এর কর্মীরা হাতিটিকে পুনরায় জঙ্গলে পাঠিয়ে দেয় ।
