হাওড়া: রুগিকে হসপিটালে ভর্তি করে বাড়ি ফেরার পথে মর্মান্তিক দুর্ঘটনায় মৃত্যু-২ ও আহত-১। ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে শুক্রবার সকালে আমতা রানিহাটি রাজ্য সড়কে মানিকপীর ও ১০ নম্বর পোলের মাঝে।মৃত দুজনের নাম প্রদীপ আদক(৫০) ও দীপু মন্ডল(৪২)। পরিবার সূত্রে জানা গিয়েছে হাওড়া জয়পুর থানা উত্তর পাড়ার বাসিন্দা প্রদীপ আদকের দাদার তিন দিনের বাচ্চার শরীর অসুস্থতার জন্য প্রদীপ দাদা বৌদিকে নিয়ে কলকাতা এনআরএস হসপিটালে নিয়ে যায় সেখানে ভর্তি করে শুক্রবার সকলে বৌদিকে নিয়ে বাড়ি ফিরছিল। মানিকপীর ও ১০ নং পোলের মাঝে দাঁড়িয়ে থাকা কন্টেইনারের পিছনে সজোরে ধাক্কা মারে মারুতি। ঘটনাস্থলেই মৃত্যু হয় গাড়ির চালক দীপু মন্ডল ও পাশে বসে থাকা প্রদীপ আদকের। স্থানীয়রা ছুটে এসে মারুতির পিছনের সিটে বসে থাকা বছর পঁচিশের মহিলাকে গুরুতর আহত অবস্থায় উদ্ধার করে গাববেড়িয়া স্টেট জেনারেল হাসপাতালে নিয়ে যায়। প্রাথমিক চিকিৎসার পরে ওখান থেকে তাকে কলকাতার স্থান্তরিত করা হয়। ঘটনাস্থলে আসে জগৎবল্লভপুর থানার পুলিশ। মৃত দু’জনের দেহ নিয়ে যায় ময়নাতদন্তের জন্য।স্থানীয় বাসিন্দাদের অভিযোগ এলাকার বেশ কিছু কারখানার ট্রাক দিনের-পর-দিন রাস্তার উপর দাঁড়িয়ে থাকে যার ফলে দুর্ঘটনার কবলে পড়তে হয় সাধারণ মানুষকে।
