আমফানে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত ঘর পুনর্নির্মাণ করতে গিয়ে বাধার সম্মুখীন হয়েছিলেন হাওড়ার দাশনগরের বালিগোলা রেল বস্তি এলাকার বাসিন্দারা। আজ সকালে ওই নির্মাণকাজ ভাঙতে এসে এলাকার বাসিন্দাদের প্রবল বাধার মুখে পড়তে হয় রেল পুলিশকে। এলাকার তৃণমূল নেতা বিভাস হাজরা, প্রাক্তন কাউন্সিলর সুব্রত পোল্ল্যে ওই এলাকার বাসিন্দাদের সঙ্গে নিয়ে রেল পুলিশের সামনে রুখে দাঁড়ান। শ্লোগান দিয়ে মিছিল হয় বিভাস হাজরার নেতৃত্বে। বিভাসবাবুর দাবি, এখানে প্রায় এক হাজার পরিবার গত একশ বছর ধরে বসবাস করছেন। এদের আধার কার্ড, ভোটার কার্ড, রেশন কার্ড সহ প্রয়োজনীয় কাগজপত্র রয়েছে। পুরসভা এদের জন্য রাস্তা, আলো, পানীয় জলের ব্যবস্থা করে দিয়েছে। অভিযোগ, আমফানে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত ঘর নতুন করে পুনর্নির্মাণ করতে গিয়ে বাধার সম্মুখীন হয়েছেন এরা। বিভাসবাবুর অভিযোগ, ঘর বানাতে হলে এদের কাছে থেকে টাকা দাবি করা হচ্ছে। এরা এখানকার দীর্ঘদিনের বাসিন্দা। আমরা রেল পুলিশকে এদের ঘর ভাঙতে দেবনা। তার আগে এদের জন্য পুনর্বাসনের ব্যবস্থা করতে হবে। না হলে প্রতিবাদ চলবে। এবিষয়ে রেল পুলিশের বক্তব্য জানা যায়নি।
