ডেস্ক রিপোর্ট, ঢাকা: শুধু চীন নয়, পৃথিবীর যেকোনো দেশ থেকে হযরত শাহজালাল আন্তর্জাতিক বিমানবন্দরে আসা সব যাত্রীর স্বাস্থ্য পরীক্ষা করা হবে। বৈশ্বিক করোনা ভাইরাস পরিস্থিতি বিবেচনায় রোগতত্ত্ববিদদের পরামর্শে এখন থেকে শাহজালালে আসা সব ফ্লাইটের যাত্রীদের মনিটর করা হবে। বিমানবন্দর সংশ্লিষ্টদের সঙ্গে কথা বলে জানা যায়, হযরত শাহজালাল আন্তর্জাতিক বিমানবন্দরে প্রতিদিন ২৫টি ফ্লাইটে গড়ে সাড়ে ১২ হাজার যাত্রী বাংলাদেশে প্রবেশ করেন। চীনের উহান শহরে করোনা ভাইরাস শনাক্তের পর থেকে শুধু চীনে সরাসরি ফ্লাইট পরিচালনাকারী ইউএস–বাংলা, চায়না ইস্টার্ন, চায়না সাউদার্ন ও ড্রাগন এয়ারের ফ্লাইটে আসা গড়ে ৭০০ যাত্রীকে স্বাস্থ্য পরীক্ষা ও মনিটর করতো স্বাস্থ্য বিভাগ। চারটি সরাসরি ফ্লাইটের বাইরেও প্রতিবেশী দেশ ভারত, নেপাল, থাইল্যান্ড, সিঙ্গাপুর, শ্রীলঙ্কা, মালয়েশিয়াসহ বিভিন্ন দেশের ফ্লাইটেও চীনা নাগরিকরা ঢাকা আসছেন।
ফলে এসব যাত্রীদের সিংহভাগই পরীক্ষার বাইরে থেকে যেতো। তাদের মাধ্যমে করোনা ভাইরাস ছড়িয়ে পড়তে পারে, এমন আশঙ্কায় এখন থেকে সব যাত্রীর স্বাস্থ্য পরীক্ষার সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া হয়েছে। বিমানবন্দরের স্বাস্থ্য কর্মকর্তা ডা. শাহরিয়ার সাজ্জাদ বলেন, শাহজালাল আন্তর্জাতিক বিমানবন্দর দিয়ে প্রতিদিন ২৫টি ফ্লাইটে গড়ে সাড়ে ১২ হাজার যাত্রী বাংলাদেশে আসেন। বৈশ্বিক করোনা ভাইরাস পরিস্থিতি বিবেচনায় অধিকতর সতর্কতামূলক ব্যবস্থা হিসেবে রোগতত্ত্ববিদদের পরামর্শে এখন থেকে ২৫টি ফ্লাইটে আসা সব যাত্রীকে মনিটর করা হবে। প্রাণঘাতী করোনা ভাইরাসে চীনের হুবেই প্রদেশে শেষ খবর পর্যন্ত মৃতের সংখ্যা বেড়ে দাঁড়িয়েছে ৭২২ জনে। এ ভাইরাসে চীনের হুবেই প্রদেশ ও বিভিন্ন এলাকায় এই পর্যন্ত ৩৪ হাজার ৫৪৬ জন আক্রান্ত হয়েছেন বলে নিশ্চিত হওয়া গেছে। ভাইরাসে আক্রান্ত হয়ে উহানে এক মার্কিন ও জাপানি নাগরিকের মৃত্যু হয়েছে। সংক্রামক ভাইরাসটি এরইমধ্যে আরো অন্তত ২৫টি দেশে ছড়িয়ে পড়ে তিনশতাধিক মানুষকে আক্রান্ত করেছে।
